RIANA was co-founded in 2023 by Anna (CEO) and Christine (CBO) as a biotech spin-off of Vetmeduni in Vienna. RIANA develops first-in-class small molecule drugs that block oncogenic transcription factors, led by STAT5 oligomerization inhibitors for FLT3+ acute myeloid leukemia (AML). We run an active AI-powered virtual screening pipeline to identify hits and leads. Over 3 years we will reach a validated lead candidate with in vivo proof-of-concept and start IND-enabling work. Within 5 years we aim to enter clinical trials and expand our pipeline to further STAT5-driven cancers.
